Service File no Initial-COMs

This view is set up to show all service files that do not contain an Initial COMs where the following criteria is met:
- The Service File program is marked as COMs required
- There is no existing COMs on the Service File
- At least one Service Event Attendee is marked as a 'show' on a 'Regular' (client facing) service event
- The attended Service Event has a Start Date within the current reporting period
- The Service File Participant, COMs not Required field does not contain any data

This list does not include:
- Where the Service Event Attendee is marked as a 'show' on a 'Case Manage' (non client facing) service event, and there are no other client facing events completed on the Service File
- Where the Service File Participant, COMs not Required field has been updated with a reason as to why it was not possible to collect the COMs at this time

In CRM we have set up rules on when to show the missing COMs notifications, based on the way we use CRM to record service delivery, and to manage internal Practitioner tasks against our external funding requirements. The process of selecting an option under the COMs not required field, or only having case management sessions recorded, does not remove the external funding COMs requirement, and this client will still show as unassessed in DEX and our BI reporting. They will not show on your missing COMs reports for the reasons outlined above.

It is important where possible to complete all required COMs in a timely manner so that we meet our mandatory funding requirement of 50% minimum assessed clients per Site and Program.
