How to add a Service File Lead to an existing Service File
This section is to capture searchable details of external parties that may need to access to service files but are not clients. These leads are automatically deactivated and deidentified when the service file closes.
If utilised for details of solicitors or other parents that will on occasion, call in to discuss the case then we can define the permissions around disclosing information to these individuals.
Selecting the +New Lead on the menu bar will open quick create form. Entering only those details required for the purpose of the lead, along with any messages in the description field, will help with quickly being able to understand the nature of the lead.
If the service file lead is being used to store potential client details, the lead can be qualified, and the newly created contact will be added to the service file participants section automatically.
Service file leads allow us to search actual names within CRM and not have to read through multiple communications looking for these details.
