 How To create a new SMS record

 

First navigate to the Client Communication tab

 

 1. To create a new SMS record for the contact, click on the + icon to select SMS. A new pop-up window will then be displayed.

2. Complete all mandatory fields marked with *. Ensure the scheduled date/time for sending the SMS message, is set in the future. 

 

3. Select Save & Close to save the SMS message.

 

Once saved, the SMS record can be found in the Timeline section of the Communication tab for the contact and can be identified for future reference, as shown below: 

 

 
 

Note(s): 

  • By default, the status of the SMS message will show as Active until the intended date/time of delivery will have been reached, at which point the status of the SMS message will be changed from Active to Closed (as shown above) immediately after the SMS message will have been sent.
