How to view notifications
This section outlines the visual cues for single and multiple page notifications in CRM. This outlines notifications for missing mandatory data and those that are reminders or informational.
To view mandatory fields
1. When entering information in CRM, some mandatory fields have been set up to force the entry of key information and are indicated with a red asterisk displayed to the right of the field name, as shown below.
To view field-specific notifications
1. If one/more fields has/have been left blank and/or contain(s) incorrect information, then a visual notification will be displayed to that effect, as shown below.
To view notifications on a page
1. To complement the field-specific notification outlined in the above, additional notification can be displayed in the message bar (ie, located at the top of the page), as shown below.
Note(s): The message bar can display a variety of notifications.
The notifications prefixed by a circle with a line through it represents mandatory information is missing from the record you are on.
The notifications prefixed by a triangle with and exclamation mark within, represent reminders or information that is relevant to an aspect of the record you are on.
These notifications will disappear as the record information is updated, they will remain if the information is related to safety or has not been completed on the file.
2. To display all notifications, select the chevron button (see step 1 below) in the App message bar:
3. The list of notifications will then be displayed, as shown below
4. To collapse the list of notifications, select the chevron button (see step 1 below) in the App message bar
